How to report infringement

Send a written notice to dmca@lovable.dev. To be effective under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), your notice must include:

  1. 1Your physical or electronic signature, as the copyright owner or an authorized agent.
  2. 2A description of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed.
  3. 3The URL or a description precise enough for us to locate the allegedly infringing material.
  4. 4Your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  5. 5A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. 6A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

Incomplete notices may delay our response. We typically acknowledge valid notices within a few business days and remove or disable access to material we determine to be infringing.

Submitting a counter-notice

If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake, you may send a counter-notice to the same address. It must include:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
  • Your name, address, and telephone number, plus consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your district.

A note on misuse

Knowingly submitting a false claim of infringement can expose you to liability for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees, under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f). If you're unsure whether the use is infringing, consider consulting an attorney first. This page is informational and is not legal advice.
